Afrik’health Consulting was founded in response to an urgent and growing need for quality healthcare services in Africa. The initiative arose from observing the increasingly complex challenges facing African healthcare systems—such as limited access to care, difficulties in reaching the “last mile,” a lack of local production of essential medicines, sometimes inadequate storage infrastructure, and a lack of continuous training for healthcare and supply chain professionals.
Faced with these challenges, Afrik’health Consulting has made it its mission to strengthen healthcare systems across Africa by offering innovative, sustainable solutions. Our goal is to bridge gaps in healthcare access, promote medical excellence, and help ensure that every individual has access to essential, high-quality health services. We firmly believe that health is a fundamental right and that robust healthcare systems are essential for our continent’s economic and social development. This vision drives us to create Afrik’health Consulting and to work tirelessly to improve health outcomes and ensure financial and geographic access to quality medicines, thereby fostering the well-being of African communities.
Dr Anne-Maryse K’Habore
A pharmacist by training, I have accumulated 15 years of experience across both the private and public sectors. I began in the private sector, taking on increasing responsibilities within major multinational pharmaceutical companies in France and Africa. Subsequently, as the Director General of CAMEG for six years, I led the organization’s transformation by ensuring robust governance, implementing high-level processes and quality management systems, and driving performance and financial sustainability. These efforts improved access to safe, high-quality essential health products—reaching the “last mile” in every region of Burkina Faso, including areas with high security risks. As a leader and team manager, I have built high-performing, results-oriented teams grounded in high ethical and integrity standards, while actively promoting diversity and inclusion. Drawing on this extensive, high-level experience in both sectors, I am passionately seeking new, challenging projects that facilitate access to essential, innovative, and life-saving interventions, ultimately improving outcomes for patients and populations. I hold a Doctorate in Pharmacy from Paris V – René Descartes University and a Specialized Master’s degree in Health Industry and Biotechnology Management from ESCP-EAP, giving me deep expertise in pharmaceutical company management across Europe and Francophone Africa.
With over 14 years of experience—9 in the pharmaceutical industry and 5 in pharmacy management—she currently holds several leadership roles and aims to become an influential voice and a key resource for the African pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
