Why was Afrik’health Consulting founded?
Afrik’health Consulting was founded in response to an urgent and growing need for quality healthcare services in Africa. The initiative arose from observing the increasingly complex challenges often faced by African healthcare systems—such as limited access to care, difficulties reaching the “last mile,” a lack of local production of essential medicines, sometimes inadequate storage infrastructure, and a lack of continuous training for most healthcare professionals, particularly those in the supply chain.

A pharmacist by training, I have accumulated 15 years of experience across both the private and public sectors. I began in the private sector, taking on increasing responsibilities within major multinational pharmaceutical companies in France and Africa; subsequently, as General Manager of CAMEG for six years, I led the organization’s transformation by ensuring sound governance, implementing high-level processes and quality management systems, and driving performance and financial sustainability.
